Joint statement on the report the Working Group on the issue of discrimination against women
During the full day discussion on the human rights of women at the 29th session of the Human Rights Council, ARC International and ILGA with COC Netherlands, and RFSL delivered a joint statement on the report by the Working Group on the issue of discrimination against women.
“The Working Group’s report is groundbreaking in its explicit reference to family diversity and its link to gender discrimination,” it states, “The report did not suggest the creation of any new categories of rights. It did not need to.”
