I. Key issues/recommendations identified by NGOs
- Include sexual orientation and gender identity as grounds in antidiscrimination legislation;
- Consider applying the Yogyakarta Principles on the application of international human rights law in relation to sexual orientation and gender identity as a guide to policy development.

The report of the Working Group was adopted at the 19th session of the Human Rights Council in March 2012. There were no references to SOGI.
