Migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons
52. Bahrain Young Ladies Association, Manama (BYLA) noted that despite the State’s efforts to establish the “National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking” (NCCHT), major challenges facing migrant worker, with the continuation of violation of migrant labour rights, such as retention of official documents, the absence of a law to prevent sexual harassment and gender-based violence in the workplace and recommended increased efforts to advance the fight against violence by conducting investigations with visa dealers to prevent those practices.

Bahrain accepted the following recommendation:
