9.  Sexual harassment and discrimination are illegal and punishable, and apply to all persons equally, regardless of sexual orientation and gender. The recent amendment to the Penal Code removed the distinction between the penalties for public sexual activity between heterosexual and homosexual couples.

31.  Sweden also recommended that the Government continue its efforts to combat all forms of discrimination and consider specific measures to promote tolerance and non-discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
